Commissioning of 2 Nos Telemetry Station at Wudil Kano State

The Honourable commissioner of Environment, Kano State, Dr Kabir Salisu Geato, with the support of the Managing Director, Hadeja Jama’are River Basin, Ma’amun Da’u Aliyu, and the National Coordinator of NEWMAP, Dr Salisu Dahiru, Commissioned and handed over 2 no. Telemetry Stations installed by NEWMAP in Kano State, to the Agency, on the 23rd of January 2021.

The Director Engineering Hydrology, Mrs Aishatu Ibrahim, also the representative of the Director General, Engr Clement Nze, at the occasion, speaking appreciated NEWMAP for the good gesture, intervention and collaboration. She noted that the Telemetry Stations will be used for the effective monitoring of the Hydrological activities, of that catchment, for the benefit of all.
