DG, NASRDA Courtesy Visit to NIHSA

The Agency today 4th August, 2021, witnessed yet another August visitor, as the Director General National Space Research and Development Agency ( NASRDA), Dr Halilu A. Shaba led his management team and some his Agency’s staff on a courtesy visit to the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA).

The Director General NIHSA; Engr Clement Onyeaso Nze in his address noted he is quite delighted to have the Director General NASRDA; Dr Halilu A. Shaba and his team in the Agency.

Congratulating Dr Halilu Shaba for a well deserved position as the chief executive of NASRDA, he also commended him for the milestone achievements of his Agency since he assumed office noting he is a square peg in square hole.

Nze speaking further said NIHSA believes so much on collaboration with other Federal Government Agencies noting that NASRDA’s visit is to consolidate on existing relationship of both Agencies, and NIHSA feel so elated to have NASRDA visit the Agency and is quite commendable.
The Director General pledged that NIHSA will do it’s best to improve on the feasibility to enhance NIHSA’S work noting that a long over dew Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both parties be looked into, updated harmonized and endorsed on a date set aside for NIHSA’S visit to their Agency.

Dr Halilu A. Shaba Director General, NASRDA in response said that NASRDA is a support services agency working together with other Agencies for the success and development of the Nation.
He pledged that whatever capacity building, facility needed by the Agency will be made available for the betterment of Nigeria noting that the Nation needed to catch up with the developed world by filling the gaps to compete favourably.

Continuing Shaba noted that NIHSA has been a dear Agency and their coming is to cement the good and old synergy between both parties and a better collaboration could only be achieved by creating a feasibility noting NIHSA’S success is also their success.
